Face to Face in person
Therapeutic Counselling
In my modern and welcoming office in Looe, I offer one-hour face-to-face counseling sessions that provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. These in-person sessions allow us to build a strong, personal connection as we work together on your journey towards healing and personal growth. The tranquil setting of my office provides a serene backdrop for our discussions, ensuring a confidential and supportive environment where you can express yourself freely. Your well-being is my top priority, and I am dedicated to assisting you in your path to self-discovery and emotional well-being.

**Please note**: Unfortunately, the office is unsuitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues, as it is located on the second floor and does not have wheelchair accessibility. If you have specific accessibility needs, please feel free to reach out, and we can explore alternative arrangements to accommodate your counseling sessions. Your comfort and accessibility are important to me.
Terms and Conditions

Qualifications and Ethical Framework
I am a qualified and insured Counsellor, proudly affiliated with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). In my practice, I strictly adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework, ensuring a high standard of professional, safe, and ethical counseling. My goal is to offer Person-Centered Counselling, providing a confidential, secure, and therapeutic environment for clients embarking on their counseling journey.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is paramount to our counselling relationship. Everything discussed between us remains entirely confidential. However, there are exceptions, including situations where there is a significant risk of harm to the client or others, any concerns related to harm to children or vulnerable adults, issues involving drug trafficking, or terrorism. For supervision purposes, I may discuss our sessions, but I always maintain anonymity by avoiding the use of names or any identifying information.
Notes and Records
I may keep concise notes from our sessions, stored on a password-protected computer within a secured file bearing a code rather than your name. You have the right, under the Data Protection Act, to request access to these notes at any time.
Sessions and Fees
The cost of each counseling session is £45 for a 60-minute session. Sessions are to be paid in advance. If you are unable to attend a booked session, please provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellation. In exceptional circumstances, I may review this policy. If you anticipate arriving late for a session, kindly contact me in advance.
I commit to giving a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellation, and I will provide you with at least 2 weeks' notice of any planned holidays.
Counselling Relationship
Our counselling relationship is defined as client/counsellor and does not extend to any form of social contact. If we happen to meet outside of our counselling space, your privacy will be fully respected unless you choose to acknowledge me. Please note that my telephone and email services are only attended to during office hours, reserved for booking, cancellations, and late arrival notifications. The duration of your counseling experience can be discussed and reviewed individually, typically at 6-week intervals.
By engaging in counseling services with me, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
